Saturday, March 4, 2017 Walkers, joggers, and runners of all ages come explore your wild side on the scenic nature trails at Caw Caw Interpretive Center. Caw Caw is actively managed for a variety of wildlife and a favored habitat for rare wildlife, so there is also the chance you may see a "wild thing" or two! An award ceremony with local food and beverages will be held immediately afterward.
Online registration ends at 3 p.m. on March 4. Registration includes one t-shirt. Additional t-shirts may be purchased online or on-site.T-shirts will be guaranteed for participants who register prior to February 19.
Kids Activities Keep the kiddos (ages 6-12) entertained and educated while you run. Kids' yoga and other activities will go on throughout the morning. Greta Caldwell from the Charleston County Public Library will also be joining us for a reading of Maurice Sendak's classic Where the Wild Things Are.
*Charleston County residents contribute to the development of our county park system through property taxes, therefore a discounted rate is available to them.
