Join Partners for Active Living for the 13th Annual Greenville Health System Turkey Day 8K in downtown Spartanburg on Thanksgiving morning!
On Thanksgiving Day in downtown Spartanburg, over 1,700 runners will start the 13th Annual Turkey Day 8K. As the first free Thanksgiving morning run in the Upstate, the Turkey Day 8K has grown tremendously since 2005 and become a Thanksgiving tradition among many residents and visitors.
The rain or shine event begins at the corner of Main and Spring Street and ends at the Daniel Morgan Statue. The registration fee requires the donation of one or more healthy canned goods.
Registration begins at 7:00 am at the statue and the run will begin at 7:30 am. Custom Turkey Day Defeet socks will be given to the first 75 women and 75 men to finish. A limited number of long sleeve event t-shirts are available for $20 each.
Partners for Active Living (PAL) hosts this annual event free of charge to the community but graciously accepts donations so we can continue to work to make Spartanburg a healthier, more active place to live and grow.
"Tuck a $10" for PAL on race day!
