Event Information

7th Annual Sequoia Stampede 5K Run/Walk & Tot-Trot

The Sequoia Stampede is an annual community 5K Fun Run which raises funds for Sequoia High School’s Sports & Cheer Teams. This fully supported event unites families, neighbors, friends, students, athletes and businesses together to collaborate in supporting Sequoia Athletics and is one of the community’s most cherished grass roots events.

 

Date: September 16, 2017 @ 8:30 AM, Tot-trot starts @9:30am

Event Check-In: starts at 7:00 am Gun Start: 8:30am Sharp!

Location:  Sequoia High School, 1201 Brewster Ave, Redwood City,CA 94062

Early Packet Pick-Up: Sequoia New Gym Lobby from 3-5pm Friday September 15th

Start/Finish line: Sequoia High School Campus, 1201 Brewster Ave, Redwood City CA 94062

Age Group Awards: 12 & under; 13-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80-89;90+; Stroller for both Men & Women.  Tot-Trot will have awards, but will not be timed.

 

 

***Family Registration discounts applied for every additional runner

 

All runners will receive a classic T-Shirt with your registration

 

PLEASE NO DOGS, SCOOTERS OR SKATEBOARDS

 

On-Line Registration available up until race time 
and on-site registration available race day.

  

THE STAMPEDE GOALS

  1. The primary goal is to raise funds to support ALL Sequoia sports programs to ensure the continued development of all student athletes, providing safe equipment and transportation.
  2. Bond Sequoia High School and the local community. 
    Be proud of our school and be proud of our community.
  3. Involve ALL athletes, students, and faculty, regardless of race, sex, or socioeconomic status.
  4. Involve all of Sequoia’s extracurricular programs allowing them the opportunity to get involved in the event, demonstrate their programs, and to raise money on the day of the event.
  5. Create a learning experience for students by enlisting them to help organize the event and volunteer on the event day.
